My Vacation

I had many interesting activates during my last vacation. I had some trip with my friends. Every weekend, we went out to tourist places. We spent our time in those places. Usually, we chose a place that had water, like lake or river for swimming.
Also, I had many voyages to other cities. I went to Hawler two times, and three times to Zakho. In Hawler we didn’t have an enjoyable time. There it was terrible because it was too hot, and always dusty. But in Zakho I had a really great time. At first time, we stayed there about ten days. Every day we ate a breakfast at a superior restaurant. After that, we went swimming in Khaber river. Then we toured in its bazaar and we shopped for memory. We were staying in bazaar until sunset every day. Next, we went to a casino and we played some until midnight. Finally, after ten days we went back at home. I think it was interesting because we got a great time and we have enjoyed.

Always, there were funny in our class. Also everyone was happy. I never forget.

AUIS Party

In 5, June, 2009 in Kumalayeti holl, at 9:30. I took this picture with (Barham Salihh) in AUIS party. It was interesting party. There was so much food of different recipes. Like Kurdish food, chine’s food and some western foods.
In addition, there was a group of special music. They played Kurdish music. They played until end of the party. After, we ate a dinner. We danced little. Also, our teachers whose foreign (from AUS and british) danced, and tried to learn Kurdish dance.
The AUIS management orders this party for coming end semester of this year (2009). attendant all my best friends Alan, Brwa, Seffa and Diveen.We returned at near by 11 o'clock. We enjoyed at the party.

MY COUNTRY

I’m a citizen of Kurdistan. It’s bordered by four countries: Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria. Kurdistan is a wide country, but it’s exploited by neighboring countries. It’s divided into four main parts. Turkish Kurdistan is the biggest part of them. It lies south of Turkey. Other parts lie west of Iran, north of Iraq and east of Syria. It has many big cities and many nice villages. Kurdistan is a mountainous zone. It has many series of long mountains. The longest is Gare . Also it has valleys, hills and pains. It’s a famous place for water and has many springs in the mountains. In Our country live many different ethnic groups together. For example Kurds, Christians, Turkeumans and Arabic people. The Kurdish language is the chief language in our country. It has many different religions, but the main religion is Muslim.
I’m from the southern part of Kurdistan. The name of this region is Iraq Kurdistan. Sometimes it’s called free Kurdistan. After the uprising in 1991, when Kurdish actions against the Ba-ath regime, it became free. After that Kurdish people constituted a special government and parliament. We have a special flag. Our currency is the dinar.
I specifically live in central Duhok. I grew up there. It’s about 250 km.s from the capital city. Its people are from many different tribes. All my relations live there.

How to Treat Animals

Originally, there were two varieties of animals; wild animals that live in the forest are always dangerous for humans, like lion, tiger, panda, and birds…etc. The other variety is pets. We can observe them. often they’re useful for us. Usually I look at their documentary movies on T.V.
First, pets live with people without any problem. Also, the person who attends animals doesn’t get bothersome to them. There’re always two facts to taking care of pets; first, because they’re beautiful or interesting and give us satisfaction; for instance, cat, dog, and birds. Those animals don’t give people anything, although they care for them. Always we feed them and give them a shower because we consider (expect) that they are members of our family. This sort of attendance is more widespread in the Western community. That belongs to their humanity or maybe for their custom (tradition). Second, is that they are more useful than the first type. They give people delicious food, such as dairy products, eggs, and meat…etc. Also sometimes they help people in special actions, like German Shepherds. It can find thieves or fugitives.
Everybody can attend to animals that are interesting or attractive for them. We can even take care of wild animals, too. That’s such easy behavior with any kind of them. There’re some ideas for attending animals in the house. First, if that animal needs a place like a dog? We will build a convenient building or make a cage for birds. That place should be suitable for housing it. Next step, we must notice their health carefully. Also we must feed them comfortable and fresh food, and offer them clean water. Often, we must clean and sprinkle their place to kill (catch) insects and bacteria which cause diseases. It’s necessary that we get them to see a veterinarian at least once each month to give them injections (vaccines).In addition, it’s important to free animals for a limited time every day. Remember, if that’s a wild animal we should keep it in its place until it becomes a pet and doesn’t hurt other people. I think this act is better for animals to change their situation
.
Finally, I hope everybody is better at dealing with animals. I think that it’s a good idea you attend the animals, and don’t hurt them, even if it attacks you. I like animals, but I don’t have any because I don’t have enough time to care for them.

My Opinion about AUIS

AUIS is one of the greatest universities in Iraq. There are three academic stages for AUIS pupils: The first step is the period called EWPLI, when we learn the English language. Second, we study at the academic level. Finally, if its pupils get high degrees, they’ll study in the masters program. The university possesses the best teachers. When AUIS’s students graduate, they’ll get the best certification. This is why I think AUIS is the best university in Iraq.

My Dangerous Surprise

I had many surprises, but the best of them was in 2003, when I went with my friends to Mosel. One day in summer of 2003, in the morning, two of my friends came with me to my house. They told me, “Let’s go on a trip to change our state.” In the beginning I told them where we should go do you have any plan or choice any where? They told me we will go to (Tilkef). That is a place near Mosel. Then we decided to go to Tilkef. When we arrived there we did some things. Next, one of them said, “We’re near Mosel why don’t we go there?” I didn’t agree. I said, because our families didn’t know anything about us. And the Mosel state isn’t better. There’s a war there, and exist terrorist. But he didn’t listen to me and he said that’s nothing. We will safe. After our argument I can’t accept him and we went by his car. We got to Mosel about one o’clock. There was too dangerous. I saw people on the street fighting. And we heard a gunshot. Some where there was blood. We were so frightened because there was so scary and had a terrorist. We prayed for God to save us. That day was exciting for me, because I saw a city never saw it before. In addition, there was a war and all worlds talked about its position. Also, our trip was unexpect. I never expected a day like that day. That day was dangerous, but it was interesting for me.
